Album Covers
While listening to my Spotify playlist, I lost my thoughts after watching the album covers for each respective songs change. And I thought, I want to try making some album covers. So I did.
Awaken, My Love! is one of my favorite albums of all time. And so I wanted to make this my first redesign. The idea behind the redesign was to express the soft melody of albums track list by making the cover’s central character into a disney like character. The galaxy and stars are there to represent rebirth and formless forms that love represent.

Radiohead’s Pablo Honey album is both my favorite and least loved album by the band. Its an odd paradox and that’s because the album represented the rise popularity the band experienced in the mainstream music industry and its decline in quality. So I wanted the redesign to show that. Its more pop than rock and simple while the images are blurry and unrefined.

Twelve Carat Toothache is Post Malone’s comeback album after a long haitus. And although it does not go as hard as his previous albums, the story and context behind each song are dramatic and tense. I want to capitalize on that tone while keeping the orignal imagery alive. The album cover is based on one of the songs on the album ‘Love/Hate letter to Alcohol’ the most unique and hard song on the list.
